Keno Manuel

Cinematographer

Keno Manuel is a self-taught filmmaker, photographer and director originating from the Philippines. Born with hearing loss, Keno relies on visuals to help navigate through life and in film - it allows him to view projects and ideas through his own “lens” and perspective.

Keno’s main focus in film production is music videos - however, his portfolio also showcases various types of projects such as narrative and documentary. His video work in music videos are unique and often being described as eye-candy, strikingly vivid and picturesque. He uses his work to connect to viewers by associating cinematic images with their emotions and inspiration.

In 2018, he produced a video that won $10K for Niceville High School during Powerade’s “Power Your School” nationwide contest. This major accomplishment only pushed Keno’s determination to turn his dream of pursuing a professional career as a filmmaker into a reality. This ultimately led to his creation of his own film production company called KENO Visuals.

From 2018 to 2021, under KENO Visuals, he has produced over 20+ projects including music videos, narratives and commercials in his film portfolio. Today, he works as a film freelancer under his own name.

Keno joined 1Shot Creation to work with the team to help change the client’s projects from ideas to reality through cinematic films and quality storytelling.
